Huzzah! My Etsy shop is safe for the time being as my buyer closed the case and agreed to work with me.

I'm always working to improve my craft which means I have to work even when I don't have any orders. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE honing my skills and coming up with new creations... But unfortunately supplies are still needed. Thread, needles, embroidery floss, steel boning, boning tips, chalk, paper, glue, pencils, printer cartridges, fabric... The list of supplies I need on a daily basis is practically infinite, so if you've any interest in helping me further my skills, any donation of $15 or more will get you a handmade and hand embroidered reusable shopping bag. Eventually I'll come up with additional gifts for higher donations but as for now the bags are what I've got.

The end of 2012 was not fantastic for me. I ended up with two rush corset orders on Etsy which I was more than happy to fulfill. I then got quite ill and ended up in the ER. After all this I was not physically able to finish the items on time and my recuperation took ages longer than I expected (and of course the funds were already used for medicine/vitamins in a last ditch attempt to keep myself out of  hospital, food and other various necessities.) After talking with my customers it was agreed that I would do the full refund but it might need to be in installments and I'd send every penny I could as soon as I could. Both buyers agreed to this, however one of the buyers still opened a case (even after I used every extra penny I had for the first refund installment, tried to explain that my Etsy shop is my ONLY source of income and begged her not to open a case as it would then be nearly impossible for me to refund her). As my shop was then in danger of suspension I attempted to contact the buyer several times (and still continue to do so) with no response. The lovely Etsy rep has been very understanding and seems to have helped me keep my shop up as long as she could. But now the reality of shop suspension is looming again and unless a FULL refund is made 02/27/2013 my shop will be suspended and there is nothing further that the Etsy rep can do to help. If you can find it in your hearts and/or wallets to donate (every penny will help) so I can get this case closed, keep my shop open and with luck improving my overall physical and mental health by driving down the stress levels a bit I'd be ever so grateful.
